Die Zauberin Nails - OPI Malaga Wine, Swatches

Hi dear!
Time ago at the airport I've got the great idea to buy a set of mini polishes by OPI. But with my great surprise I discovered that they contain formaldehyde, camphor...for more information read a recent review Here. What do you think about this theme?
What a shame these nail polishes are formulated like this.
The colour Malaga Wine is so pretty and easy to be applied. It is important to have the brush plenty of product in order to obtain a uniform result.
As top coat I used the Rapidry by OPI. The result is astonishingly shining! Here some photos trying to capture this marvelous shade.

Thanks for your visit and for your kind comments!
Kisses
Marghe

  2. ¡¡Hola Marghe!!

  3. Beautiful polish! I am a bit surprised about that formula, I thought OPI were at least 3 Free? I have to check out some of my bottles from the brand. I don't care about products containing mineral oil, well I'm not so fond of it in face creams but for lip products and hand creams I really don't mind. Formaldehyd and camphor is a totally different story though, these are not very healthy chemicals.

    1. Hi dear Emma! I was thinking the same..in fact when I read the ingredient list it has been a bad surprise. Please let me know if also your OPIs contains formaldehyde and camphor. A big hug

    2. Hello Marghe! I answeared your comment but I'm also writing here so you don't miss my response:) I went to check on the bottles I used in my skittle but they don’t have an ingredient list actually, probably because they are press samples. I checked another bottle from OPI that I recieved as a gift in 2016 Never A Dulles Moment and it did not contain formaldehyde nor camphor. I also checked on an older bottle of Bogota Blackberry and that one did contain formaldehyde and camphor so I guess they changed the formula. Maybe the old colors still have their old formula? This is an old color right?

    3. Hi dear, yes it is a very old shade, in fact it has been created 27 years ago as I read here https://imabeautygeek.com/2016/08/09/opi-infinite-shine-fall-2016-iconic-collection-swatches-review/

As discussed below by Sony, the original OPI shade are not either 3 or 5 free...

  10. Beautiful shade. Original OPI polishes are not either 3 FREE or 5FREE but OPI Infinite shine (the ones with silver cap) are 5 FREE formula. I wrote a blog post about it sometime ago :) you can read it here - http://nailscontext.blogspot.com/2015/04/opi-infinite-shine.html

OPI Infinite Shine primer though is not 5 FREE so read what it contains before you buy it :)

I am big on 5 FREE formulas too these days and have found some great ones. I have complied it all in my blog posts.
