I will review some samples received at Clarins stand when I went to buy my usual foundation! Sometimes shop assistants can be so generous!

So...Let's start!

Multi-Active Day Cream - All Skin Types, Crème premières rides antioxydante

This is the best cream between all. First, it has a marvelous fragrance...something powdery and flowery..a dream! The cream absorbs well and skin appears well hydrated. It is good as a base before applying make up.

I think I will buy the full size jar when I have finished other products opened.

My rating: 8/10

Now...let's move to a product thought for men...but since my husband does not use creams (...) I decided to try it on myself, ahah!!!

ClarinsMen Line-Control Cream

So what about this cream? It is very nourishing, too much, in my opinion. I started applying a very little quantity of product but it sticks a lot. The product is not absorbed well by skin.

I would not suggest this cream. Maybe for very dry skin is good. But the way I suggest to try a sample before buying the full size!

Here we have another product for men!

ClarinsMen Shave Ease Oil

But this time my husband tried it!

Well, this product facilitate a lot shaving. The only thing is that it leaves skin sticky. Unfortunately the first ingredient is paraffinum liquidum. This is not so good.

By the way, it has a good minty perfume.

My rating: 6/10 because effectively works but the ingredient list is not so good.

Price: about 25 €

Multi-Active Night Cream - Normal to Combination Skin

This cream is very good, in the sense, you applied a very little quantity on your face and neck. Massage well and the cream is wonderfully absorbed. You will go to bed with a soft and nourished skin, not sticky! In the morning I have noticed that my skin was radiant!

My rating: 8/10

Collaboration - Silver Mirror Chrome Nail Powder, BeautyBigBang.com

Hi dear!

Today I'm back with another collaboration with the online webstore BeutyBigBang! This time I tried this silver mirror chrome nail powder! The code of the product is: SKU:J2949

Its usage is exactly the same as for the peacock holographic powder.

As base colour I used the violet Pupa Lasting Color gel, Smalto Effetto Vetro, Glass Effect Nail Polish (5 ml).

I didn't apply any topcoat since I do not own the right one. I read it is necessary a particular one or as some of you have suggested, water based coat works fine too.

Without top coat this manicure lasted on me just on day and then appeared again the violet nail polish below, what a shame!

My rating: 6/10, because for an optimal and long lasting result the right top coat is needed.

Face Mask - Cien Aqua Moisturising Mask - with aloe vera and jojoba oil

Hi dear!

After my good experience with the Cien Anti-Wrinkle Mask I decided to try other types too. So, I'm back with the Aqua Moisturising mask, which is enriched  in aloe vera and jojoba oil.

The quality is good, in the sense that my skin was well hydrated after the treatment. Next morning my face was uniform and relaxed.

All considered I'm satisfied by this mask. I think it is useful for summer but also for winter, because skin dehydrates a lot also when the climate is cold.

The perfume is delicate.

My rating: 7.5/10

I would buy it again!

Soap Bar - Spuma di Sciampagna Beauté Sapone Profumato Rosa e Vaniglia con Proteine della Seta

Hi dear!!!

Today I will review this perfumed soap bar by the Italian brand Spuma di Sciampagna. It is popular in Italy but I don't know if it is exported. By the way, I bought this soap for intimate hygiene. It is very delicate and the foam is very creamy. It contains silk proteins. The perfume is wonderful and it is inspired to the perfume Bain de Champagne de Caron.

My rating: 8.5/10

Price:1-2 €

I will buy it again!

Face Mask - Goji Berry & Pomegranate Super Fruit Mud by 7th Heaven, Montagne Jeunesse

Hi dear!

As you know I like to try different masks. Montagne Jeunesse is a good brand all considered, for the quality and the price of their masks. So, if I'm in a shop an saw them I usually buy some. It is a routine for me doing 2-3 masks per week because I noticed very good effects on my skin. It is clean and hydrated.

The masks I will talk you about today is a purifying mask, so after its removal is important to applied a good moisturizer.

The perfume is chemical but not strong.

The mask contain clay so after some (10-20 minutes) it is necessary to remove it gently with a sponge and warm water. It acts also like a scrub. It is a typical clay mask.

My rating: 7/10

I would not by it again, my favorite Montagne Jeunesse mask is and remains the Hot Spring Sauna!!!

Shimmery Eye MakeUp Look using Too Faced Eyeshadows

Hi dear!

I'm back with a simple but effective make up that I wore last Saturday, all the day long. I think it works well for a lunch out and also for a dinner. The key is the blue liner!

Collaboration - Emerald Nails using Peacock Holographic Powder, BeautyBigBang.com

Hi dear!

Today I'm back with another collaboration with the online webstore BeutyBigBang! This time I tried this marvelous holographic green peacock powder! The code of the product is: SKU:J2952-10A

 How does it work? You have to apply a nail polish, in my case I've chosen a regular black polish (Black Out n°800 by Rimmel, 60 seconds), then when the polish is not completely dry you have to apply the powder, with the eyeshadow applicator that came with the powder box, and to burnish the powder onto the nail. It is very easy and fast to obtain a lucent result like the one above.

Here, I have to underline the fact that I didn't use any top coat. Well, I tried two traditional different top coats (Pupa and Maybelline), but they destroyed the marvelous lucent/holographic effect.

On BeautyBigBang.com I read, effectively, to use a special no wipe top coat that needs UV/LED vamp.

Without top coat this manicure lasted on me just on day and then appeared again the black nail polish below, what a shame!

My rating: 6/10, because for an optimal and long lasting result the right top coat is needed.

Blended Violet Eyeliner + Blush Eye MakeUp

Hi dear!!!

Finally, yesss....this is the last appointment of this looong series, by the way, hope you enjoyed this!

Today I'm using the same violet eyepencil of the first post of the series, the same blush BUT the procedure has been changed:

1. different eyeshadow base , I'm trying the one by Catrice, it is quite oily and it exalts more colours

2. eyeliner blended along the socket line > bad idea, since the eye pencil is metallic, so it has not the right consistency for blending
