Hi dear!!!

I'm back with the second magnetic nail polish I won in the Giveaway held by Nails Context, thanks again dear Sony, these nail polishes are sooo pretty!

Today I will show you the 3 D Magnetic Aurora Series: Fairbanks Arts!

It is difficult to describe this nail polish. It is a dark brown with pink/orangy reflections under some lights... and it is golden under other lights..

In the photos you can see 2 layers of nail polish without base and without topcoat. It has a good resistance (1 week). I used the super strong magnet by masura.

The bottle contains 6 ml.

My rating: 8/10

Hi dear!!!

Finally I'm back! This August I took a break from the blog. It has been an intense month with my family at home, nothing extraordinary but very peaceful! 

How are you? You've been at home or in some special place? 

Now, let's move to the beauty side of things! After ages I'm showing you a manicure! I won this wonderful nail polish in a Giveaway held by Nails Context, thanks dear Sony!

Today I will show you the first (of two) nail polish of the 3 D Magnetic Aurora Series: Astral Realm!

It is difficult to describe this nail polish. It is fuchsia under some lights, then green but I can see also some copper...

In order to achieve the final result I used the strong magnet by Masura.

In the photos you can see 2 layers of nail polish without base and without topcoat. It has a good resistance (1 week).

The bottle contains 6 ml.

My rating: 8/10

Die Zauberin Nails - Golden Holographic Nails - F.U.N. Lacquer Million Dollar Dream

Hi dear!

I'm back with my nails of the week..

that means super glittery and holographic nails!

I used the F.U.N. Lacquer Million Dollar Dream (Holo Gliter Polish 1st anniversary collection).

I obtained the full coverage with 2 layers. The consistency is good. The drying time quite fast.

It is super elegant!

Die Zauberin Nails - Olivine Nails

Hi dear!

Finally I'm back!

This is the manicure I'm wearing right now, I used two marvellous greens, one by China Glaze, called Budding Romance (middle finger, see here for the complete swatches) and the other one is the magic A-England - Elizabeth & Mary - Fotheringhay Castle (take a look at a manicure created time ago with the same nail polish).

Well, this is not exactly a spring manicure, but I was in the mood of this kind of colours, so that's it! =)

Die Zauberin Nails - Flormar 'Chrome Purple' n° 148

Hi dear!

These are my nails of the week!

I love this nail polish by Flormar, already swatched here.

It is very elegant and not banal at all. A dark dray with purple reflections, a dream!

The application is very easy because the formula is so good and fluent. The brush permits a precise applications.

Die Zauberin Nails - NOTD Kiko, Pearly Wine number 493

 Hi dear!

This is a brief post just showing you my nails of the day!

I'm wearing the Kiko, the Pearly Wine number 493. It is a nice deep red with gold foils inside. Not exactly pearly. It is easy to be applied and it dries fastly. However, I applied it yesterday and today I can see the tips a little bit ruined. I have not applied top coat buy I washed dishes ahah! :D

Die Zauberin Nails - OPI Malaga Wine, Swatches

Hi dear!

Time ago at the airport I've got the great idea to buy a set of mini polishes by OPI. But with my great surprise I discovered that they contain formaldehyde, camphor...for more information read a recent review Here. What do you think about this theme?

What a shame these nail polishes are formulated like this.

The colour Malaga Wine is so pretty and easy to be applied. It is important to have the brush plenty of product in order to obtain a uniform result.

As top coat I used the Rapidry by OPI. The result is astonishingly shining! Here some photos trying to capture this marvelous shade.

Hi dear!

This is my second China Glaze nail polish! What a marvelous green! The consistency is very good, the application easy, the brush is thin and comfortable. It dries very fast.

My rating: 9/10!

Die Zauberin Nails - China Glaze Nail Polish Lacquer of Coarse!

Hi dear!!!

Time ago I went is a small beauty shop and I found a great offer...two China Glaze nail polishes for just 1 €! Oh, I love these offers! Well, of course these are not the more recent nail polishes by this brand. But it doesn't matter, the colours and finishes are super pretty, so I've chosen 2 bottles. The first choice is a texture turquoise. I'm not a big fan of texture, but lastly I'm starting to appreciate this finish more and more. The result is very delicate and elegant, also at work. 

Of coarse! by China Glaze is very easy to be applied, it dries very fast and the coverage is perfect in just 2 layers. My rating: 8/10.

I've combined this textured  with the glossy Kiko 336 Electric Blue.

Collaboration - Silver Mirror Chrome Nail Powder, BeautyBigBang.com

Hi dear!

Today I'm back with another collaboration with the online webstore BeutyBigBang! This time I tried this silver mirror chrome nail powder! The code of the product is: SKU:J2949

Its usage is exactly the same as for the peacock holographic powder.

As base colour I used the violet Pupa Lasting Color gel, Smalto Effetto Vetro, Glass Effect Nail Polish (5 ml).

I didn't apply any topcoat since I do not own the right one. I read it is necessary a particular one or as some of you have suggested, water based coat works fine too.

Without top coat this manicure lasted on me just on day and then appeared again the violet nail polish below, what a shame!

My rating: 6/10, because for an optimal and long lasting result the right top coat is needed.

Collaboration - Emerald Nails using Peacock Holographic Powder, BeautyBigBang.com

Hi dear!

Today I'm back with another collaboration with the online webstore BeutyBigBang! This time I tried this marvelous holographic green peacock powder! The code of the product is: SKU:J2952-10A

 How does it work? You have to apply a nail polish, in my case I've chosen a regular black polish (Black Out n°800 by Rimmel, 60 seconds), then when the polish is not completely dry you have to apply the powder, with the eyeshadow applicator that came with the powder box, and to burnish the powder onto the nail. It is very easy and fast to obtain a lucent result like the one above.

Here, I have to underline the fact that I didn't use any top coat. Well, I tried two traditional different top coats (Pupa and Maybelline), but they destroyed the marvelous lucent/holographic effect.

On BeautyBigBang.com I read, effectively, to use a special no wipe top coat that needs UV/LED vamp.

Without top coat this manicure lasted on me just on day and then appeared again the black nail polish below, what a shame!

My rating: 6/10, because for an optimal and long lasting result the right top coat is needed.
